four things

kim tagged me (and I’m more than slightly ashamed at how long it took me to get to this!). and thus, the following:

four things I did today:
+ set up the Christmas tree
+ bought a new (to me) camera
+ cleaned up the living room
+ cuddled with JB, who is coming down with my last week’s cold

four things on my to-do list:
+ bake bread
+ finish making (who am I kidding?) continue making Christmas cards
+ research online for some places we want to explore in Vermont in January
+ think of more ways to decorate for Christmas

four of my guiltiest pleasures:
+ lay’s stax
+ reading (and rereading and rereading) The Time Traveler’s Wife and the Harry Potter series
+ long, long hot baths and showers (such a waste of water! but it’s just the thing on a cold, windy winter day)
+ sleeping in until 9 on Mondays

four random facts about me:
+ I am 10.5 years younger than my next older sibling.
+ I would love to live in either a) in a little apartment in the midst of a huge city or b) in an old farmhouse in Maine. Hopefully I’ll get to experience both in my lifetime.
+ one reason I love England so much is the history that surrounds me when I am there. it’s mind-boggling.
+ I was a music major until half-way through my college experience; I can still name at least the composer, if not the work and the performer as well, of most pieces played on classical radio stations.

and two more because it took me so long to do this:
+ I saw Joshua Bell in concert 5 times
+ I’ve been told I’m a very good whistler.

(Thank you, Kim!)

I tag: Kate. If you wish. :)

I accept your tag. By the way, I changed my blog address. (I’m hiding from someone I don’t want reading my blog.)
