our new irish friend

john and our new friend, jack o’lantern (we also have “patty o’furniture” outside, but that’s another story). currently, his innards are roasting in the oven in a bit of olive oil and salt – jack’s, that is; not john’s. we’ll see how this turns out.

it’s very rainy and dark tonight; on the walk to meet john after work, the wind was picking up and some beautiful leaves were swirling down the street. my energy always quickens right before a storm, and i get very excited. hooray for interesting weather!

    I love the “patty o’furniture”… that’s awesome.

Hi, Kate! It’s always best if you say it in an Irish accent, too. ;)
