My name is dänika.
I am a twenty-something woman with an incredible husband, lovely apartment, lots of art and crafting supplies, a degree in history and english that has done nothing so far other than snag a job in a completely unrelated field; scores of interlibrary-loan books out at any given time, and a cupboard full of gluten-free ingredients.
I’ve blogged since 2001 in various locations, but hit a lull the beginning of this year, until I realized what I really wanted to do: help others who are gluten-free, like me. Being gluten-free is such a significant part of my life, something I’m so passionate about, that I now have much more interest in blogging than ever before. I’ve followed a few gluten-free blogs for the past few years, which helped me deal with the stresses of first going gluten-free. If I could, through this blog or otherwise, provide any help, hope, or inspiration for anyone else who is struggling to embrace a gluten-free, allergy-free lifestyle, I would feel incredibly lucky.

wishlist: A vintage tweed jacket, a week off work to do things that I want to do, a kitchen-aid stand mixer, a GOOD gluten-free chocolate-chip cookie, a baby, and two one-way tickets to Florence, Italy. Not necessarily in that order.
